HOLLY SPRINGS, GA (CBS46) -

Police in Holly Springs are looking for two men who broke into a home March 21.

Around 11:28 a.m., police said two men broke the glass out of the back door of a home on Crestmont Lane.

The men rifled through drawers and removed two kitchen knives that were later found lying on the kitchen floor, police said.

They then went upstairs and pried their way into the master bedroom.

The resident of the home was hiding in the master bedroom and ran into the master bathroom as the men forced their way into the bedroom.

One of the men forced the bathroom door open and found the resident inside.

Both men ran from the home when the resident began screaming.

Police said it is believed that they did not know anyone was at home

The men are described as follows:

  • Suspect 1: 5'06"-5'08", slender build, wearing all black with a black hoodie over his head, blue bandana over face.
  • Suspect 2:  6'00"-6'03" husky build, tan short sleeve T-shirt, possibly wearing a "blue tooth" device in right ear

If you have any information on these men, please call Det. Johnny L. Shirley at 770-721-7528 or email him at jshirley@hollyspringsga.us.
