Gwinnett Fire and Emergency Services respond to hazmat spill

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

Gwinnett Fire and Emergency Services responded to a hazmat spill at 665 Duluth Hwy. in Lawrenceville.

A truck reportedly spilled liquid Hydrofluoric Acid which is used for heavy cleaning.

Half of the product leaked from the container before the hazmat team was able to stop it.

Four people were exposed and taken to the hospital, there were no other reports of injuries at the scene.
