MILTON, GA (CBS46) -

Three arrests have been made in connection to the fatal shooting of a Milton teenager. Officers credit the public with helping them make the arrests.

Christopher Walker, 19, was shot in his driveway in Milton on March 12.

Officers arrested Matthew Goins, 20, of Alpharetta, Michael Grant of Roswell, 23, and Richard Davidson, 20, of Roswell, in connection with Walker's death.

"All the law enforcement people thank you. And, anyone who gave tips, thank them for being who they are for doing the right thing, for working so hard for Chris, for us, for justice," said Mary Jo Walker, mother.

Police said, Christopher Walker and his friend went to Taco Bell by the North Point Mall in Alpharetta on March 12.

Restaurant surveillance video showed Christopher Walker and his friend, and the three suspects. Officers said the trio noticed Christopher Walker's gold chain and followed Christopher Walker home in an attempt to rob him.

According to investigators, Davidson approached Walker in his driveway and shot him in the head, killing him.

Police made the surveillance video public a week ago and said there was a CrimeStoppers reward for information leading to an arrest.

Officers said the tips started coming in immediately. They were able to identify the car used in the crime and find the suspects.

All three suspects are charged with murder, aggravated assault and attempted armed robbery.

Goins and Grant were denied bond Thursday morning, and Davidson will appear before a judge Friday morning.

Christopher Walker was an Alpharetta High School graduate.
