The driver of the vehicle was last seen northbound on Powder Springs Street towards downtown Marietta.

The bicycle rider was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Marietta police released pictures of a vehicle and driver of interest. The vehicle is a black SUV, possibly a Cadillac Escalade or similar vehicle, with dark tinted windows and black wheels, which was seen leaving the NCG Cinema immediately prior to the accident.

The male driver and two children were at the theater leaving a showing of The Croods.
