ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta celebrated 75 years of service on Monday.

The organization held an event in downtown Atlanta to launch their 75 doors campaign.

Local artists teamed up with young people to create art on 75 actual blue doors. The displays represent how the Boys and Girls Clubs open doors for young people.

"It's the door that opens every afternoon or summer for children to come to our clubs throughout Atlanta and really be given a wonderful dose of academics, healthy lifestyles and character development," said President and CEO Missy Dugan.

Organizers say the displays are inspired by kids and teens at the club who are focused on reaching their dreams and the staffers who are helping them get there.
