The Georgia Dome started filling up around 11 a.m. as people prepared to watch their favorite teams practice. The Wichita State Shockers were the first to practice and they were cheered on by some of their biggest fans, the Meitzners.
"Go Shockers! We have followed them, we love the Shockers, we are ready for a victory. When the Final Four was here back in the 1960s, my dad came here to Atlanta. He is alive today, he's 77 years old and he is rooting for the Shockers,'" said Cecilia Meitzner.
"I think Cinderella's slipper is getting ready to break," said Mark Holfelder, a Louisville fan.
Holfelder said there is no question he likes the Louisville Cardinals. He points to his souvenirs as proof.
"I have my Big East pen that they won in the Big East Tournament this year. I have Final Four pens from New Orleans and St. Louis," said Holfelder.
Syracuse fans CBS Atlanta talked to shied away from excessive trash talk about their team's chances, but fans of the Wolverines, the Shockers and the Cardinals had no problem talking.
"Let them all talk, we will see what happens Saturday night," said Larry James, a Syracuse fan.
