West Chase Apartment tenants without power for two weeks

Posted: Updated:

CBS Atlanta News questioned management at the West Chase Apartments in Austell for the second time in two weeks Tuesday about some of their tenants that are living without electricity.

Two weeks ago, management told CBS Atlanta that the issue had been resolved. However, some of the residents living in building 305 said they are still without power.

CBS Atlanta's Adam Murphy went to the leasing office in search of some answers, but management locked the doors and closed the blinds. They also called Cobb Police.

Iris Staples is one of those tenants without electricity. She said management temporarily moved her to another unit, but she has to sleep on the floor. She also said management told her they ordered a part to fix the problem, but it hasn't happened.

CBS Atlanta News called the registered agent of the property Jeff Klotz with AmveStar Capitol, American Management Group and Just Multifamily LLC, but he has not yet responded.
