Cobb County inspections manager Lee McClead said code enforcement cited management at the West Chase Apartments in Austell this week for multiple violations.
"It's for gutters being loose and unattached, broken windows, litter and debris and the fence in disrepair," McClead said.
This after CBS Atlanta began asking tough questions two weeks ago about tenants who have been living there without electricity for several days.
CBS Atlanta has also learned from the county that building 305 failed an electrical inspection back in January. CBS Atlanta's Adam Murphy asked the county what they plan to do next.
"We can remove the people from the building and from my understanding they've been offered a different location. So, if that is in fact the case, then I can't hold the landlord accountable for a housing violation because they've offered a remedy for that," McClead said.
CBS Atlanta News also went to Just Multifamily LLC in Dunwoody Friday. They're one of the companies associated with managing the West Chase Apartments.
"I can't make a comment. I don't know anything," an employee said.
