Increased security at Hawks game

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

There was extra security at Philips Arena on Tuesday night.

Security at large sporting events has been called into question since the bombings in Boston.

Hawks fans at the game say they feel safe.

"It's nice having the increased security in the wake of what happened in Boston, but all in all, I think I always feel safe when I come here," said fan Ryan Duncan.

Philips Arena and Hawks management say they have spoken to Homeland Security, the FBI and Atlanta police.

They also reviewed their safety measures.
