Police seek suspect in string of robberies

Posted: Updated:

Sandy Springs police are investigating three robberies that may be connected.

On April 9, a man was robbed at the Extended Stay Hotel at 905 Crestline Parkway.

The suspect was described to be 6'0", thin, and having a silver handgun.

The victim's credit card was taken during the robbery and used at the Walmart Supercenter  in Duluth.

On April 13, a victim said his wallet and television were taken. He gave police the same description as the suspect from the April 9 incident.

On April 14 a suspect shot a resident on Summer Drive in what is believed to be a robbery attempt.

The victim is recovering at Grady Hospital. He told police the suspect used a .380-caliber pistol.

Detectives believe the same suspect may have committed the three crimes because the incidents happened in a concentrated area.

A photo of the suspect was released while using a stolen credit card at Walmart.
