You can expect a variety of changes for the first day of the 2013 Dogwood Festival in Piedmont Park, with a quieter forecast for the final two days this weekend.
Showers are expected for the first part of the afternoon, with drier weather expected Friday evening. Temperatures will gradually fall throughout the day. It will be much colder Friday night with temperatures in the 40s!
Noon: Showers | 64 degrees | South wind at 17 mph
3 PM: Showers moving out | 56 degrees | Northwest wind at 15 mph
5 PM: Dry | 52 degrees | Northwest wind at 12 mph
7 PM: Dry | 50 degrees | Northwest wind at 10 mph
10 PM: Dry | 48 degrees | Northwest wind at 7 mph
We'll see plenty of sunshine in Piedmont Park on Saturday. It'll start cold with temperatures in the lower 40s, warm into the 60s Saturday afternoon, and cool back into the 50s Saturday night.
We'll see a few more clouds on Sunday, but it should remain mostly clear. It'll start cold again Sunday morning with temperatures in the 40s, but warm into the 70s Sunday afternoon
