Another weather system moved across the southeast Wednesday, producing rain in North Georgia and bringing colder temperatures.
A line of rain moved into far northwest Georgia around 1 p.m. Wednesday, and eventually made it into Atlanta around 4 p.m. While severe thunderstorms impacted the deep south, it was all rain for Metro Atlanta with generally less than a quarter-inch.
The showers Wednesday were followed by colder temperatures Thursday morning as lows dropped into the 40s, which is about 10 degrees below average for this time of year.
Morning lows will be just as cold on Friday morning before warmer mornings return this weekend.
