ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) - Atlanta police are looking for three men in connection with the murder of 57-year-old Ronald Clark.

According to investigators, Clark stopped in a nearby store on Marietta Boulevard last Friday to cash his payroll check.

That's when investigators believe the man captured on security tape jumped in the back of Clark's van and waited to ambush and rob him of his earnings.

Today for the first time, Clark's window, Marilyn Clark, begged the public for help identifying the men who committed this crime.

"Ron was the air I breathe," Marilyn Clark said. "He was my best friend. We talked on the phone twice a day for 15 years."

The suspects fled the scene in a black, Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Investigators released a video of the suspect in the vehicle at his last known location.

"The people responsible for the crime should pay with their lives," said Danny Hamilton, an eyewitness.

Atlanta Police Homicide Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area and may have seen something to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477 or investigators at 404-546-4235.
