ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A slow-moving weather system will continue to move across the southeast U.S. bringing additional rain to North Georgia.

Scattered rain is expected to continue overnight in Atlanta with up to a quarter-inch of additional rain possible.  No storms or additional flooding is expected.

The rain should move out of Atlanta by 6 a.m. Tuesday morning.

While it should be dry in Atlanta on Tuesday, additional showers and thunderstorms will be possible in northeast Georgia during the afternoon and evening.

This weather system produced flooding rain across North Georgia when it initially arrived last weekend.  Atlanta saw over three inches of rain on just Saturday, which was a single-day rainfall record.
