With several inches of rain expected this weekend, people across Atlanta were scrambling to change their outdoor plans. By early Saturday morning, several events had already been canceled.
Organizers of The Sweet Auburn Music Fest announced they were postponing their event Saturday and Sunday. A new date was expected to be announced in the future.
The free Neighborhood Jazz Concert at John A. White Park was also canceled. The event was organized by Keisha Lance Bottoms, a member of the Atlanta City Council.
Snellville Days has also been canceled, although the 10 a.m. Saturday parade could still take place. Organizers will make a decision at 9:30 a.m.
