AUSTELL, GA (CBS46) -

Loved ones of a missing college student from Austell drove to Cochran, GA Tuesday to help police there search for him.

Police said Jmaal Keyes,19, a freshman at Middle Georgia State College, never returned to his dorm room after heading off to class April 25.

Keyes' family has not heard from him since that day.

The family told CBS Atlanta News Sunday that every attempt to call Keyes' cellular phone ends with the voicemail picking up.

"We're going to stand alongside the authorities there," said Pastor Wilbur Purvis of Destiny World Church, which is leading Tuesday's search. "We appreciate all the effort that (police) have done, but we just need all hands on deck. We prayed on Sunday, and now we're putting that into action. We're going to spread flyers, talk to people, speak with classmates, as well as take a $3,000 reward."

On Monday, it was hard for the missing students' sister Jalisa Keyes to fight back tears as she talked about her younger brother who apparently vanished without a trace.

"I want people to let us know what's going on and to bring him home safely," Keyes said.

Purvis, the pastor, said that the teenager's disappearance rocked his congregation.

"I am concerned that it's been two weeks. I'm concerned and that all his calls are going to voicemail," Purvis said. "I am concerned that he has not been in contact with his family, but yet hopeful that it will turn out for his good."

Anyone with information that can help locate Jmaal Keyes can call the campus police department at (478) 934-3002 or (478) 471-2414.
