ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Atlanta police say they desperately want to talk to four men who were captured on surveillance video.

"We are asking for the public's help identifying these three individuals because they are persons of interest," said Maj. Darryl Tolleson with the Atlanta Police Department.

Investigators said they believe the men may have information connected to the shooting death of Jerrick Jackson early Tuesday morning. Police said Jerrick Jackson, who is the brother of Rev. Wiley Jackson of Gospel Tabernacle Church, was returning to his northwest Atlanta home with his fiancé when he was approached by four people. Investigators said they believe the men followed Jerrick Jackson.

"Jackson and his fiancé were robbed at gunpoint and then forced into his residence. We believe a fight took place and at that point we believe Jackson was shot," said Tolleson.

Detectives said they aren't ready to say the men in the video are the gunmen, but they said the men had evidence connected to the crime.

"These individuals attempted to use the stolen credit card that was taken from the homicide scene that belonged to Mr. Jackson's fiancé. They attempted to use it around 10:24 that morning, which is about nine hours after the homicide," said Tolleson.

Investigators said the people who committed the crime may be connected to similar robberies.

"We are not calling them suspects at this point, but we are interested in how they came about the debit card that was taken from the scene, and we want to know a little bit more about them," Tolleson said.

Police said if you have information connected to the homicide, call Atlanta police or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS.
