Detectives in Henry County determined who is responsible for damaging a veteran's memorial.
Officers discovered the damage was caused by a maintenance worker.
Another employee noticed the damage on May 2.
The cost to replace the memorial bench is $3,000.
The investigation is still ongoing, according to Sergeant Joey Smith with the Henry County Police Department.
