ROCKDALE COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

A 20-year-old man and 7-month-old baby were killed and three others were injured in a street racing accident Friday morning, according to police.

A spokesperson with Georgia State Patrol said a Honda Accord driven by Kyrie Alassen Anderson and another vehicle were racing on I-20 in Rockdale County when Anderson lost control.

Edi Rodriquez, 20, and Anderson's 7-month-old child died in the accident.

Anderson was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital to treat broken bones.

Police said the Honda struck a guardrail before traveling across the westbound lanes, striking a pickup truck.

Driver Jody Shane Richardson, 34, and passenger Terry Lee Chaney, 48, in the pickup truck were also injured.

There was another crash behind this one involving two vehicles. One slowed for the first crash and was hit in the rear.
