Charter school moving into APS building

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA (CBS46) -

The Wesley International School is set to move into the Cook Elementary School building this summer.

Atlanta Public School facilities are allocated to charter schools for free, according to the school board's chairman. APS has future plans for the building, so the agreement is for the temporary use of the building.

The school currently leases space on Custer Avenue in Atlanta and the cost is approximately 12 percent of the school's budget. The money will now go directly toward students.
