The same storm system that has produced tornadoes in Texas Wednesday will slowly move through the southeast U.S. through the weekend.
The weak, upper-level weather system will combine with daytime heating to produce an isolated storm Friday, with scattered storms expected Saturday and Sunday.
The storm system is expected to weaken substantially as it moves into North Georgia. As a result, no severe weather is expected in Atlanta.
