Looking for a fun place to take the kids? Check out the interactive Body Carnival exhibit at the Children's Museum of Atlanta.

Body Carnival: The Science and Fun of Being You is in its final weeks at the museum. The exhibit explores the physical science of the human body, highlighting the concepts of force, pressure, light, sound, mathematics and the laws of motion.

Children can explore a series of stations including Balancing Act, Dizzy Tunnel, Tunnel of Blood, and Hang Time.

"Through fun and through play, you will learn all about the science and the magic of how your body works," said Jane Turner, the museum's executive director. "We've seen a lot of fun interaction between parents and children as they're figuring out how their tendons work, as they're looking at artificial parts that get added to your body to make it work better. All kinds of things to learn."

CBS Atlanta News featured the exhibit Thursday in the 9 a.m. hour of Better Mornings Atlanta.

The exhibit runs through Monday, May 27. The museum is open Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The exhibit is included with museum entry. Admission is $12.75 plus tax.

The museum will remain open during the summer with a variety of other hands-on exhibits.

"This is a great place to come if you're a family, if you have visitors, if you're with a camp group, a field trip. We have programs for everyone," said Turner.
