LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -
Longview Police are continuing their investigation into a shooting which occurred around 2 pm Saturday in Longview.
Authorities say the shooting happened in the 900-block of Spring street. Longview Police tell KLTV that the shooting involved a father andhis daughter, 24-year-old Tabetha Christian Evans. Police say Evans seriously wounded her father when she shot him. Both were taken to Good Shepherd Medical Center for treatment. The father remains in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The daughter has been taken to the Gregg County Jail where she is being charged with aggravated assault family violence with a weapon. Her bond has been set at $100-thousand dollars.
