A man accused of snatching a woman from the street and sexually assaulting her will remain behind bars for now.
Atlanta police arrested Jermaine Jordan on Friday. Jordan made his first appearance in a bond hearing Saturday morning. The Fulton County judge denied bond to Jordan.
The victim told investigators she was walking along Forrest Hills Drive when she noticed a man was following her. As she began to walk faster, the suspect increased his pace and continued to follow her.
Jordan grabbed the victim by the neck and punched her in the face, according to a witness. He allegedly took her into an abandoned building and forced her to smoke crack before sexually assaulting her.
