NORCROSS, GA (CBS46) -

For the second day in a row, hundreds lined up for free dental care thanks to the Georgia Mission of Mercy.

Doors opened at 5 a.m. at the North Atlanta Trade Center in Norcross on Saturday.

By 11 a.m. organizers had to turn people away because they reached capacity with 1,100 patients.

"I mean, people are so nice to us, and one of the things that we were just impressed with is the people in line who knew they weren't going to be treated told me to tell the folks inside that they were praying for them," said Dr. Richard Smith, director of public relations at Georgia Mission of Mercy.

Organizers said 1,300 volunteers saw 800 patients on Friday. They saw more than 1,100 patients during Saturday's clinic where they completed cleanings, fillings, extractions and fitted some people for dentures and partials.
