Falcons TE Anthony Miller out

FLOWERY BRANCH, GA (CBS46) -

The Atlanta Falcons released tight end Anthony Miller on Tuesday and signed with Colin Cloherty.

Cloherty was originally signed as a free agent by the Indianapolis Colts out of Brown University following the 2009 NFL Draft. He formerly played with Indianapolis, San Francisco and Jacksonville. He played in four games with the Jaguars, catching four passes for 57 yards and recording his first career touchdown on a fumble recovery.

Miller originally signed with the Denver Broncos as a college free agent out of California following the 2012 NFL Draft. He signed with San Diego in 2012.
