ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Atlanta Falcons representatives began giving a presentation Thursday morning to minority-owned business owners interested in pursuing potential partnerships on the stadium's design and construction.

The presentation is part of the day-long Back 2 Business conference organized by Atlanta City Council President Ceasar Mitchell.

During the conference, the Atlanta Falcons will unveil a website where interested business owners will have ongoing access to information on how to engage during each step of the design and construction process.

"It's very exciting," said Eddie Barnett. He owns a drywall company and hopes to be selected to partner with the Falcons.

This is the second year for the conference, which allows decision makers to set up tables and talk to registrants one-on-one about available partnership opportunities and their respective procurement requirements.

More than 600 people registered for this year's conference, and more than 40 businesses and government agencies planned to participate on various panels.

The conference is happening inside Atlanta City Hall until 3 p.m.
