PD: Boy, 16, beaten, robbed in Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

A 16-year-old boy is recovering after he was beaten and robbed in Scottsdale early Sunday morning, according to police.

The Scottsdale Police Department said the victim called police and reported he was robbed at gunpoint and beaten by three people in the area of 8400 E. Belgian Trail.

The victim said he knew one of the three suspects who took cash and his phone.

Police said the three suspects were arrested nearby and all items were recovered, including the handgun.

Luke Warner, 21, was among the suspects. The other two suspects have not been identified at this time.

The victim's father said his son was taken by ambulance to Scottsdale Healthcare Shea with a concussion, broken nose and lacerations on his head.
