Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Rail service has resumed after a possible lightning strike disrupted MARTA lines between the Arts Center and Buckhead.

Around 8:15 a.m., MARTA tweeted, "Due to a problem at Lindbergh all northbound trains are terminating at Arts Center. All southbound trains are terminating at Lenox and Buckhead. Shuttle service is being provided from Lindbergh Center to Buckhead Lenox and Arts Center. Rail lines struck by lightning."

Later on, MARTA tweeted power was out at the Lindbergh station.

Rail service has resumed, but delays run more than 20 minutes in Red and Gold line service.
