Fundraiser held for Dunwoody fire victims

DUNWOODY, GA (CBS46) -

A food and clothing drive was held Saturday to help victims of an apartment fire.

Flames ripped through the LaCota Apartments on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Dunwoody on Wednesday. Ten families lost everything.

Several organizations, including Christmas for Kids and I Care Atlanta, are collecting donations Saturday and Sunday. They need clothing, household goods and non-perishables.

Sunday's collection times are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Georgetown Shopping Plaza, located at 4498 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.
