Rain didn't stop Peachtree Road Race

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Most runners got soaked, but the rain didn't stop the 44th running of the Peachtree Road Race.

The race is an Atlanta July 4th tradition, with 60,000 participants. It is the largest 10-kilometer race in the world.

The men's winner was Mosinet Geremew of Ethiopia. He finished the 6.2-mile course in 28:04. The women's division winner was Lineth Chepkurui of Kenya with a time of 32:07.
