CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

Steady rain has local lake levels rising. Lake Allatoona closed two boat ramps due to high water.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers closed the Clark Creek South and the Cooper's Branch boat ramps Saturday. Rising waters have covered nearly half of Victoria Beach.

Water is creeping to the picnic areas at Galt's Beach as well as other beach and picnic areas located off Highway 41.

Rain has put Lake Allatoona above full pool, which is 840'. The level as of 9:15 p.m. Saturday was 842.15'.
