Posted: Updated:

A woman died in an accident on I-85 at Steve Reynolds Boulevard on Monday.

Police said a tractor-trailer, SUV and a box truck were involved.

At about 1 p.m., the tractor-trailer changed lanes, forcing the Pathfinder out of its lane and into the side of the box truck.

After striking the box truck, the Pathfinder traveled to the right side of the highway.

The SUV flipped off the embankment and rested on the Steve Reynolds Boulevard exit.

A man, woman and two children were inside the SUV.

The woman, identified as Rabia Adnan, 34, of Duluth, died at the hospital just before 5 p.m.

The children were taken to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. Officials said they are expected to survive.

Police said the driver of the tractor-trailer did not stop after the accident.

The Accident Investigation Unit tracked the truck down in Cobb County. Officers identified the driver and interviewed him. Police are still trying to determine if he had anything to do with it or if it was another truck.
