COLLEGE PARK, GA (CBS46) -

For the third time in as many days, crooks used a vehicle to smash into a store to steal its ATM.

The latest caper happened at the Chevron on Riverdale Road in College Park.

Police told CBS Atlanta News on Wednesday morning the latest smash and grab happened just after 2 a.m.

The store's owner is frustrated and fears his business will be forced to close for at least a week.

"Its very bad because it hurts your business it hurts your money economically and everything and its going to cost a lot of money to fix that thing also. Lets see how long its going to take how long the insurance is going to take," said Alex Bhai.

Security camera video CBS Atlanta News was given shows a dark colored Dodge pick-up truck was used to smash into the store.

Once inside, two men in masks with yellow gloves grab the cash machine and drive away. The driver remained in the vehicle.

Bhai said the criminals caused extensive damage to his convenience store's foundation and the overall structural integrity of the building.

Police believe the trio may be linked to other smash-and-grabs in the metro Atlanta area.
