The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta, just off Interstate 575 in Woodstock, opens Wednesday night.
The shopping center boasts 80 stores and will create hundreds of new jobs.
"Absolutely, by far, the biggest thing that's ever happened to Woodstock," said Mayor Donnie Henriques. "Right off the bat it's going to mean about $2,000,000 annually from both property and sales taxes for the city."
Stores have been interviewing potential employees at job fairs for the last few months.
While the grand opening is by invitation only, the opening for the general public happens on Thursday, July 18.
