DeKalb County residents worried about crime can attend a special roundtable Saturday morning.
More than 800 crimes have been committed within a two-mile radius of Wesley Chapel and I-20 just within the first six months of 2013. Many business owners and residents feel like a reduction in crime would help improve the economy.
Panelists slated to appear include DeKalb CEO Burrell Ellis, Sheriff Thomas Brown, and Police Chief Cedric Alexander.
The meeting begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Sanford Event Center, located at 4183 Snapfinger Woods Drive, Decatur.
