LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Police served a search warrant at a Las Vegas building Wednesday that houses a business that bills itself as a "pansexual nightclub."
Several FOX5 viewers called and sent emails to the newsroom after observing police activity at the Power Exchange near the intersection of Highland Drive and Polaris Avenue.
A picture sent to FOX5 via Twitter showed a black vehicle with SWAT written on the side at the location.
"SWAT now on bullhorn saying they have search warrant for building," Twitter user @rick4tkins posted. "Second flash grenade just went off."
Fine Beauty Cosmetics is a business located across the street. Employees ran to a back storage room when they heard the raid begin.
"To hear the explosion and you sit here and you don't know what's going on, it was very scary," said employee Hila Hechal.
Larry Hadfield, a spokesman for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, said officers were serving a warrant at a business in the area, but he would not immediately confirm the name of the business. In a statement, police described the raid as a joint operation with other southern Nevada law enforcement agencies.
The Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement were the lead agencies in the case, according to Metro.
A FOX5 photographer said he saw officers from both Metro and the Homeland Security Department at the location.
According to the business' website, Power Exchange is an 18-and-older pansexual nightclub with locations in San Francisco and Las Vegas.
An ICE spokesperson told FOX5 the warrant in connection with the raid is sealed and that no further information could be given.
