ATLANTA (CBS46) -

Rallies are scheduled in 100 cities across the country Saturday, including several in metro Atlanta, one week after a Florida jury found George Zimmerman not guilty.

Zimmerman said he shot Trayvon Martin, 17, in self defense. Martin was unarmed. The case has triggered debate on race, guns and self-defense laws.

People planning to attend the "Justice for Trayvon" rallies said they want Zimmerman to face civil rights charges.

In DeKalb County, the First Annual DeKalb Civil Rights Walk, held in memory of Martin, will take place at 10 a.m. at the DeKalb SuperValue Foods located at 2112 Candler Road in Decatur.

In Atlanta, "I Am Trayvon Martin" Prayer Vigil and Rally is planned to take place at noon on the front steps of the Richard B. Russell Federal Building.

In Cobb County, a march is scheduled at 6 p.m. from the Cobb County Civic Center to Glover Park in Marietta Square.
