Two men are in custody after allegedly breaking into an apartment unit at Atlantic Station.

At 5 p.m. Sunday, Atlanta police responded to a dispute call at The Atlantic luxury apartment building located at 270 17th St. NW. When officers arrived, they learned the dispute concerned a possible burglary on the property.

According to police spokesman Greg Lyon, a resident walked in on a burglary occurring inside his apartment. The man pursued the fleeing suspects. At this time, details are not available regarding how the suspects were apprehended, but the resident was not injured.

Police arrested Thomas Simmons, 26, a resident of the complex and Antwan Bell, 26.

This isn't the first incident of break-ins at the complex. In May, two units were burglarized when thieves gained access to a secured floor.
