Funeral services will be held Friday for the 13-year-old boy killed during an apparent carjacking.

Steven Diaz Galindo was killed Monday while putting air in his sister's truck's tires.

Visitation was held Thursday night. A second visitation is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at the Mission San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church on Conley Road in Forest Park, with the funeral service immediately following at 1 p.m.

Burial will be at Carver Memorial Gardens on Upper Riverdale Road in Jonesboro.

Friends and strangers alike have been bringing donations to the victim's family. Steven's mother told CBS Atlanta News that she has already received thousands of dollars in donations that will cover the cost of burying her son, but that she still doesn't have enough to get him a proper tombstone.

Two 18-year-old men were arrested early Thursday morning and are charged in his death.

Clayton County police identified the men as Gilberto Gomez of Forest Park and Sergio Alvear of Atlanta.

According to Maj. Johnny Robinson of the Clayton County Police Department, Gomez confessed he was the shooter. During the investigation, the men admitted the reason for the shooting and for being at the location was to steal the family's truck.

Gomez is charged with theft by receiving stolen property, felony murder, possession of firearm/weapon during crime, criminal damage-2nd degree, armed robbery, and aggravated assault.

Alvear is charged with giving false information, felony murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery, and criminal damage-2nd degree.

Police expect more arrests to follow. They're looking into whether the men they arrested are involved in a gang. Anyone with information in the case may call the Clayton County Police Department's tip line at 770-473-5400.
