CLAYTON COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

Gilberto Gomez stood and listened as a Clayton County judge read the charges against him.

"It's alleged you shot Steve Galindo with a shotgun, and he died due to his injuries," said the judge.

Gomez and Sergio Alvear, both 18, are accused of killing 13-year-old Steven Galindo, and attempting to kill his sister.

"You approached them in a parking lot with a shotgun, and a white bat. You had a bandana over your face, you took five dollars, a gold chain and keys to the truck," the judge said.

Police arrested Alvear and Gomez early Thursday morning. Here's what Gomez had to say, when asked about the charges he's facing.

"All I got to say is get out my face. That's all I got to say," said Gomez.

Police said Gomez shot Galindo with a shotgun that was stolen from Cobb County. According to police, Alvear was armed with a baseball bat, when they tried to steal Galindo's sister's truck.

"I don't care about them. I know they will be behind bars, I know they will. I know there will be justice for my family, that's why I said let God be with them," said Symeria Diaz.

Diaz said her brother was putting air in the tire, when two armed men approached them wearing bandanas over their faces.

She said she does not recognize Gomez and Alvear.

"I just remember my little brother's face," said Diaz.

Diaz says all she wants now is justice.
