TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson Electric Power says the storm is affecting at least 200 customers, down from the original 9,000 Friday.

Power poles are down in the area of Irvington and Campbell and Park and Fair. TEP plans to work throughout the night and report that most customers are expected to have their power restored by Saturday morning.

Residents reported a lot of damage such as downed trees and stop signs.

"I was scared to get off the car and run in because I do know the ground is wet and we could've gotten electrocuted," said Diane Ellis.

TEP crews say they'll be repairing and replacing the downed poles for the next few days.
