FORSYTH COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

According to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, an 11-year-old girl that was critically injured in a crash died at the hospital on Friday.

On Wednesday, Caroline Addlesburger and her mother Tracy Bieler, of Suwanee, were involved in a two-car accident on Old Atlanta Road.

Bieler was pronounced dead at the scene and Caroline passed away around 10:23 a.m. Friday at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite.

Another 11-year-old girl, that was a family friend, was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to her face.

According to investigators, Beiler was headed southbound on Old Atlanta Road near Estates of Old Atlanta subdivision when she apparently lost control while on a curve.

Her car traveled into the southbound lane and struck a 2012 Honda Odyssey.

The driver of the Honda Odyssey, Mujtaba Syed, 40, was taken to North Fulton Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A 7-year-old passenger in the van was taken to the hospital with a broken arm.

Investigators said the rainy weather conditions were a contributing factor in the crash.
