Georgia Lottery players across the state have won large prizes playing Powerball.

Prizes included three $1 million prizes and six $10,000 prizes from the $448 million jackpot drawing.

Winning tickets with $1 million prizes were sold in Peachtree City, Stockbridge and Pooler.

One of the three winning Powerball tickets worth $1 million from Wednesday's $448 million jackpot drawing was claimed Thursday.

Jennifer Pierce of McDonough claimed her prize Thursday.

She purchased her Quik Pik ticket at Conyers Food Mart in Stockbridge.

"I couldn't believe it. I called my daughter," said Pierce, 53. "My daughter looked it up on the computer and said, ‘It looks like $1 million!'"

Tickets with $10,000 prizes were sold in Rising Fawn, Augusta, Columbus, Duluth, West Point and Athens.

One winning ticket worth $40,000 was sold in Savannah.

Since the Powerball jackpot began rolling June 26, five winning tickets worth $1 million and 15 tickets worth $10,000 were sold across Georgia.

Winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes.

Winning numbers from Wednesday's Powerball drawing were 5-25-30-58-59 and the Powerball was 32.
