DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

A DeKalb County man accused of sexually assaulting nearly a dozen woman pleaded guilty and was sentenced Thursday.

A judge sentenced Trever Deion Blue to three consecutive life sentences plus 484 years in prison to run concurrent.

Blue faced 68 charges including sexual battery, sodomy, and armed robbery.

In 2009 and 2010, Blue, who has been referred to as the "Hambrick Road Rapist," brutally raped and assaulted multiple women around the Hambrick Road area in DeKalb County.

Blue was arrested in February 2010 after one of his alleged victims managed to escape.

A victim of Blue's crimes made an emotional statement during the sentencing recounting the attack.

Paul Pollaid attended his arraignment in 2010. He said Blue attacked one of his friends.

"He robbed her. He abducted her for two or three hours. I expect he will be convicted and punished accordingly," said Pollaid in 2010.

"Hopefully this sentence will help the victims and their families continue on the road to healing from these terrible and senseless acts," said District Attorney Robert James. "A monster has forever been removed from the streets of DeKalb County. [Blue] will never be able to harm women and terrorize neighborhoods again."
