Crews have closed a Williamson County road for repairs after a drainage pipe collapsed Wednesday afternoon.
South Carothers Road is closed at Arno Road east of Franklin, and the road may not be back open for up to two weeks.
The drainage pipe collapsed beneath South Carothers Road, and crews worked Wednesday to dig around the site for better access to make repairs. A section of one side of the road is gone after the collapse and construction work.
Drivers who typically use the road are asked to find an alternative route.
