Kennesaw woman's car hit by CSX train

COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

A Kennesaw woman walked away without serious injuries after a bizarre CSX train accident. It happened just after 1 p.m. in downtown Kennesaw, just off of Main Street.

Police say Angela Hightower, 48, was at a rail crossing. Moments later, the railroad's crossing arms came down while Hightower was still on the tracks. The train crashed into her car, dragging her several feet.

According to police, several cars in front of her car and behind her car prevented her from moving. She was not able to exit the vehicle.

Police have said Hightower will be charged with stopping the in the railroad track.
