Condo fire displaces two

DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

Flames broke out at a residence off U.S. Highway 278 in DeKalb County.

Firefighters were called to 2015 Manhattan Parkway at 1:28 a.m. Flames had engulfed the home when crews arrived. It was an end unit in a community of attached homes.  

The damage was contained to the one unit. A fire wall kept the flames from spreading to the neighboring unit, according to DeKalb County fire. Both residents were at home when the fire broke out.

There were no injuries. The home was a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
