ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A Disney Junior character inspired a mobile health event Saturday at Centennial Olympic Park.

Thirty doctors from Artemis Medical Society brought the messages of role model "Doc McStuffins" to Atlanta's youngest population.

Kids learned about getting more active, eating healthier and drinking more water.

"We are teaching kids about hydration, how important it is to hydrate, especially in the hot sun," said Dr. Deonza Thyme, founding member of Artemis Medical Society. "We are teaching them not to be afraid of the doctor, so they are here doing check-ups on their animals. We are teaching them about nutrition. There is a lot going on."

Artemis is a group of women of color physicians who want to inspire the next generation of doctors and get the word out about proper healthcare.
