Flu vaccinations available at Fulton County health centers

FULTON COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

The Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness is providing flu vaccines at six centers.

Vaccinations are recommended for all persons aged 6 months and older in the United States.

To optimize immune response, children aged 6 months through 8 years require two doses of influenza vaccine.

The vaccine is administered a minimum of four weeks apart.

Residents can get a flu shot or the nasal mist for $25.
